Panther Pack Alpha

This is an alpha release of my future panther pack. Do not modify and release anything without my permission.

I. Installation

This addon requires Resistance. It should work with 1.75, but was tested on version 1.91 only.
Put the following files in your addon folder :
FAB_PzV.pbo
FAB_PzV_data.pbo

Put the sample mission called "Panther Pack Alpha.eden" in your "Users/.../missions/" directory.

II. Features

It includes the following features :

- 4 camos plus the original dark yellow
- panther Ausf A, D, G, late G
- BefehlPanther Ausf A, D, G, late G (command version, with extra radio equipment)
- script to generate plenty of different panthers, by random hidden selections
- animated recoil on gun
- animated gun lock thingy (if required for some intro sequence)
- innacurate old interior (yes, i havent finished the new one, so you'll have the old one for now) (no offense to sturmtiger's work)
- script to set your own tank number (random by default)
- script to set your own number of gun rings (random by default)
- temporary crew (CWC guys without weapons)
- a lot of stuff missing, as it will feature the final version only !

III. Usable scripts & animations

There is an example of this section in the sample mission.

1. Animated gun locking thingy


It was used to lock the gun into position during transport. Use it for intro sequence if you need to.
Put this on the init filed of the unit to put it up:
this animate ["Gunloc"",1]
And this to put it down:
this animate ["Gunlock",0]


2. Custom vehicle number


The vehicle number is set randomly by default. Use this script only if you want to specify a number.
Put this on the init filed of the unit, to put number I03 for example:
[this,"I","0","3"] exec "\FAB_PzV_data\scripts\setnum.sqs"
The following numbers are accepted :
"I","II","0","1","2","3","4","5","6","7","8","9"
other example :
[this,"7","1","2"] exec "\FAB_PzV_data\scripts\setnum.sqs"
It will put the number 712 on the tank...
The number is set randomly by default.

3. Custom number of gun rings


This was painted by the crew to indicate their number of defeated enemies...
The number of gun rings is set randomly by default. Use this script only if you want to specify a number.
Put this on the init filed of the unit, to put 12 gun rings for example:
[this,"12"] exec "\FAB_PzV_data\scripts\setstripes.sqs"
You can put from 0 to 32 gun rings (0 and 32 included).

Original model from Sturmtiger's panther (ww2ec), then modified soo much that there is nothing left from the original :-)
